David worked at a company where nobody trusted AI enough to put it near real systems. He saw the same pattern everywhere: businesses falling behind because agents could not clear their risk teams. The idea for Glio came from closing that trust gap.

The three of us studied Computer Science at University College Dublin. We came together for ClawComp, the hackathon hosted by Link Ventures in Boston, and took first place. The prototype was called Gliomach, the Irish word for lobster. It was a security framework for OpenClaw. The name shortened to Glio; the shell stayed.

Between us we have experience deploying agents for Fortune 500 companies and building frameworks from the ground up for regulated industries. Two of us were candidates for the Irish Cybersecurity Team. The team has mathematical olympiad experience. Formal reasoning is where Glio starts.
